In few words

For the Venice Carnival, the the Biennale has organized a special event for children called “The garden of wonders”. The Italian pavilion has been prepared with many rooms in which children could play stimulating their creativity and enjoy a special carnival.
Studio Camuffo designed these giant monsters for the room called Pianeti Sonori and invited us to build an installation around them.

Technical details

Behind each monster there were few buttons that we designed specifically for this installation. The buttons were connected to a hacked computer keyboard which was communicating with a Max patch. According to the hit monster the software picked and played randomly one of its expression.
